Louise Cannon is an award-winning cake designer creating delicious show-stopping cakes from her home in Swindon. Her love of baking began at an early age when she'd help her mum make birthday and Christmas cakes, and her passion for decorating began around the same time when she found herself falling in love with a royal icing cradle her aunt made for a Christening cake.

Fast forward to 2015 when she achieved a PME diploma in royal icing, sugar paste, and sugar flowers at Bath Cake Company. It was then she experienced a light-bulb moment. “I realised that while it was an intensive week of activity I actually felt as though I'd had a holiday,” she tells us. The phrase, “Do what you love, and you'll never work another day in your life,” really came to home to her in this moment – Louise was hooked! In 2016 she opened the doors of Louise Cannon Cakes and has never looked back.
Today, she creates stunning and delicious centrepieces that you won't want to cut but will be glad you did!
