Ceilidh Tree's guitarist and caller Will shares his top ten reasons for having a ceilidh or barndance at your wedding.

1. FUN Brides and grooms always feedback to us that ceilidh dancing along with friends and family was one of their standout wedding moments. Our fab caller teaches the moves and ensures everyone is engaged and entertained, choosing the perfect dances to suit the group.

2. ICEBREAKER A great caller will do all they can to fill the dance floor and make the ceilidh inclusive. A ceilidh brings everyone together and is a great talking point.

3. KEEPS EVERYONE ENTERTAINED Say goodbye to overly long discos and awkward empty dance floors - time flies when you're getting jiggy with it! Even those that aren't participating will love watching everyone else get their ceilidh on.

4. ACE PHOTO OP From action shots of the bride and groom galloping down the set or the dancefloor morphing into weird and wonderful shapes, ceilidhs are one of the visual highlights of the day. Photographers love us!

5. ALL AGES LOVE TO CEILIDH The joy of the ceilidh is everyone dancing together delighting both young and old. We can also include dances just for kids or gentler ones for older guests.

6. WORKS WITH OTHER ENTERTAINMENT Ceilidhs warm guests up for an incredible disco (Ceilidh Tree's ceilidh and Disco / DJ / lighting add-on is really popular for weddings). We can also provide a discounted piper, harpist, jazz or classical duo for earlier in the day - having us provide this makes things simpler in the planning and smoother on the day.

7. ROMANTIC Especially the waltz with beautiful celtic music. There's also many moments where we can (if wished for) make the couples' entrance the centerpiece of the dance.

8. FIRST DANCE Ceilidhs give you extra choice with your first dance. We can host this entire section for you with our caller introducing and cueing up your music. There's also lots of options for a ceilidh first dance where you can share the experience with all of your guests dancing along.

9. NEW EXPERIENCE Most of the weddings we perform at have lots of guests that are completely new to ceilidh dancing and we love winning them over to become complete converts by the end - this will make your wedding extra memorable for them too.

10. HEALTHY Burn off those wedding excesses... ceilidhs are typically quite high energy and guests will love being able to indulge even more as a result!

Expert says prenups aren't just for the rich and famous

Legal experts at Richard Nelson LLP are urging Brits to rethink who prenups are really for. While often seen as something reserved for high-profile couples, data suggests they remain largely overlooked in everyday relationships. Just 7 percent of divorced Brits had a prenuptial agreement in place before separating, highlighting a significant gap between perception and reality. Regionally, attitudes vary. Manchester has emerged as the UK's 'prenup capital', with 13 percent of divorced couples having one in place, compared to 8 percent in London and 11 percent in Birmingham. Meanwhile, cities including Liverpool and Southampton reported no uptake among those surveyed.
