Croftview is an award-winning venue located just outside the village of Hinton St George, South Somerset. Set within the magnificent grounds of a 1,200 acre private estate with stunning views across the countryside, it offers a memorable location for a celebration. The 13-bedroom property was built during 2020 and has been individually designed with colour schemes, sumptuous furnishings and a high standard of craftsmanship. It's both light and spacious and the Owl Bedroom on the top floor is particularly suitable as a bridal suite.

The large outdoor lawn and licensed Pagoda space are stunning settings for a small, private ceremony, allowing a maximum of 60 guests, including the 30 people that can be accommodated to stay at the property. There's disabled access to this area and paved walkway together with plenty of hard standing car parking available.

There are also spacious front and rear courtyards suitable for drinks, canapés and celebrations, as well as beautiful landscaped gardens creating an idyllic atmosphere for a romantic and magical ceremony. This picturesque venue is a photographer's dream! We love the Underground Hobbit House built into the hillside with firepit and views over the fields beyond. It offers super-fun photo opportunities and an ideal area for guests to gather.

What's more, there's a recently renovated licensed function room for "I dos" within a barn adjacent to the Croftview courtyard and this building also offers an extensive commercial kitchen suitable for caterers on the ground floor. An oak staircase leads up from the entrance hall to this room, which is perfect for indoor wedding receptions with exposed beams and rustic charm.
