Til' death do us part - financial tips for couples approaching marriage
There are few life events bigger than getting married - and very few more...
The National Trust is announcing Friday evening opening at their site at Tinkley Gate, Woodchester Park, from 13 June to 25 July.
The site will be open until 8pm each Friday through this period with the café open until 7.30pm, a three-hour increase to normal times for hot food, allowing visitors to enjoy the green space at Woodchester Park for longer.
Take a deep breath and wind down from a busy week of wedding planning, with drinks, food and activities on offer until later in the evening.
With the gentle backdrop of bird song into dusk, it’s the perfect opportunity to settle into a relaxing weekend. Entry is free – just pay for parking or scan your National Trust membership card.
The evening openings launch with Tinkley Gate’s celebration of National Picnic Week from 14 June to 21 June with blankets laid out on the green space in front of the cafe and picnic box making to enjoy with the whole family this weekend.
As well as ample opportunity to see the park into the evening, the café at Tinkley Gate will have blankets placed outside with table service and its fantastic range of pizzas, focaccias, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks on offer.
Max Biddlestone, Visitor Operations and Experience Manager at the Cotswolds Countryside Portfolio, says, “Our late Friday opening at Tinkley Gate offers the perfect opportunity for our visitors to enjoy summer evenings in the Cotswolds at their best. What better way to celebrate the start of summer than with an old-fashioned English picnic, and with greater access from the Tinkley Gate site down into the heart of the park, families can enjoy the whole site for longer.”
