This shoot was initially created to mark the content launch of Knot & Co., a Somerset-based brand built around simplifying the wedding planning journey without compromising on style or meaning. "With so many brides now embracing their bride era," says shoot coordinator Lucy King from Knot & Co., "We wanted to capture the essence of what this season really looks and feels like: full of anticipation, intimacy, celebration, and joy."
Featuring real engaged couples across Somerset locations, the shoot was rooted in genuine connection and editorial beauty, a visual love letter to the engagement chapter and all its unique emotions. "Each couple brought their own dynamic, energy and story to the shoot, from soft, romantic moments in golden fields to playful, cheeky love among vineyard rows," Lucy continues
The team's styling and location choices reflected a spectrum of vibes: earthy woodland tones, whimsical meadows, dramatic waterfalls and casual, contemporary touches. Nothing was overly staged or forced, the focus was on honest emotion and natural interaction, guided lightly to keep everything relaxed and real. "The result is a collaborative shoot that celebrates the imperfect magic of being in love, while laying the creative foundation for the Knot & Co. brand: romantic, joyful, and unapologetically real," Lucy explains.
