Somerset vineyard, Aldwick Estate, is preparing to pop the cork on its latest release of sparkling wine. Nestled at the foot of the Mendip Hills, the vineyard has been producing award-winning wines since 2013 and its newly released Somerset Cuvée looks set to continue that tradition.
Crafted by renowned winemaker Steve Brooksbank using the traditional method, Somerset Cuvée is a delicate blend of Seyval Blanc and Pinot Noir grapes, all hand-tended and hand-picked by the Aldwick Estate team.
The latest releasee comes at a time when English sparkling wines are enjoying global acclaim, with an English vintage recently crowned the best in the world by the International Wine Challenge.
"Somerset Cuvée is an elegant, vibrant and sophisticated wine," says Sandy Luck, managing director of Aldwick Estate. "It's fresh yet indulgent, with a lasting finish – a true celebration wine."
